DOC–Herbaliser’s DJ-friendly jazz/funk/hip-hop fusion is well stated on this debut. Not your standard hip hop, with the Ninja Tunes influence far more apparent in this album. A bit clever, in an undergraduate sort of way.
Still, great music and a must for lovers of UK hip hop history.
